| Description: | A thin crust savory pizza dough. For added fibre you can substitute a 1/2 cup of unbleached flour for 1/2 cup whole wheat flour. Unbleached Spelt Flour is also an option in place of the Hard Unbleached Flour. |

| Ingredients: |

 | | 1 tsp | Dried basil leaves |  | | 1 tsp | Dried orageno |  | | 1 tbsp | Extra virgin olive oil |  | | 2 cloves | garlic (minced) |  | | 2 cups | Hard Unbleached Flour, Organic |  | | 2 tsp | Instant dry active yeast |  | | 1/4 tsp | sea salt |  | | 1/3 cup | warm water (110F) |  |

| Instructions: | Add all the ingredients in the pan of a bread machine. Process using the dough setting.
Preheat a pizza stone to 450 degrees for 30 minutes or preheat oven if you are using metal pizza pan.
Prepare all your favourite toppings.
When the bread machine is done with the dough cycle remove the dough and set on a lightly oiled surface. Knead the dough for a minute or 2 and form an oval. Cover with a towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
Roll and stretch the dough into a circle 14 inches or so. Place the dough on the prepared stone or pan.
Add your ingredients and bake for approx. 15 minutes or until brown on the bottom and bubbly on the top.
Makes 1 large pizza. |
