Description:The perfect potluck or side dish. Pot barley is recommended for being higher in fibre than pearled barely.
Ingredients:

1/2 cupBrown Rice, Organic
1 cupChicken or Vegetable Broth
1 tbspDried Onion
1 tbspDried Parsley
1/2 tspPepper
1/2 cupPot Barley, Organic
1 cupwater
Instructions:In the morning add water and grains to the bowl of a rice steamer and let the grains soak until the evening. Use a strainer to drain water and place in steamer bowl again. Add water to reservoir and turn on the steamer. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and steam for 50-60 minutes or until desired tenderness is achieved.
